Officers did a joint OP with Trading Standards last week , a few shops in the area were visited and one shop sold to underage children and also sold illegal vapes.
Officers dealt with a stolen vehicle previously stolen from Wednesfield at a car key burglary whilst patrolling the area last night.. Car was recovered and is now being forensically examined.
A prolific shoplifter who has been targeting the Tettenhall area has been charged with over 12 offences so good detection work from the Officers.
During the week the Team were out advising drivers in the Wolverhampton area about leaving their cars defrosting whilst in the house. Over 30 drivers spoken too as they easily could have been potential targets as numerous cars in the Wolverhampton area were stolen during those frosty mornings. and whilst we were out patrolling.
Officers this week have executed a drugs warrant at an address in Merridale where a number of wraps of suspected to be CLASS A drugs were seized, cash and weapons. The investigation continues.
Just a reminder in this busy run up to Christmas season keep your bags and wallets close by and don't become a victim of pick pocketing, every year we get lots of reports of this.
Scams calls are doing the rounds again remember the Police will never call you asking you to collect money for them! Just be wary of any calls from scammers pretending to be from your banks or building society
