Blythe Crime update.


Dear Resident,

Here are the Reported Crimes on Blythe from Friday 22nd March – Saturday 30th March 2024.

Burglary.

No Burglaries have been reported on Blythe.

Attempted Burglary.

No attempted Burglaries have been reported on Blythe.

Theft of Motor vehicle.

23/03/24 - 5.34 pm. A land Rover Discovery was stolen from Cleobury Lane. It was later recovered by Warwickshire Police from Hopwood.

Interference with a motor vehicle.

23/03/24 – 12.42am. A ford Fiesta had a window smashed whilst parked on private land just off Rumbush Lane. The Vehicle’s alarm was activated and two Offenders were seen by a resident to make off in a black VW Golf.

  • Ensure that all shrubs and hedges do NOT encroach the maximum height of 1m and Tree canopies are lifted to 1.8m. This allows for maximum natural surveillance.

  • Ensure that all fences are the same height as smaller fencing abutting higher fencing acts as a potential climbing aid for offenders.

  • Ensure that all garden furniture is stored away in a garden shed along with any tools to avoid aiding offenders in committing burglary.

  • Ensure that Wheelie Bins are not stored near to fences and are chained together to prevent them from being used as climbing aids or storing objects in that may aid an offender to commit a crime.
