I just wanted to inform all SHIRLEY residents of some ' Good News' regarding a message that I put out over a week ago surrounding a DOORSTEP SCAM.

The male was targeting elderly females asking for money to get to hospital ( various reasons were given), 

I managed to get some excellent CCTV of the male targeting a resident, the male was arrested the day after.

Some of you may have already seen this post;

We have charged a 43 year old man in connection with three distraction burglaries that took place in Shirley, last month.

Gurtake Singh has been charged with three counts of burglary and two counts of fraud by false representation.
