Dear Resident, Here are the Reported Crimes on Blythe from Saturday 1st June 2024 - Monday 10th June 2024. Burglary. No Burglaries or attempted Burglaries have been reported.
Theft of Motor vehicle. On the 7/06/24 between 10.30pm – 10.45pm a blue Jaguar X PACE estate 21 Plate was stolen without keys from Tythe Barn Lane.
Theft from motor vehicle. On the 6/06/24 between 6.30pm – 6.45pm a Ford Transit 18 plate was parked on the Plough and Beefeater carpark Stratford Road, Shirley. It had a hole cut in its sliding door allowing access to the inside of the vehicle. Tools were stolen. Between 5/06/24 5pm -6/06/24 9.30pm a van parked on The Plough and Beefeater car park Shirley, had a hole cut in the vehicle’s sliding door. The Offender(s) were unable to gain access into the vehicle. On the 6/06/24 between 1pm – 2pm whilst loading shopping into vehicles boot a purse was reported stolen from a hand bag which was on the passenger seat of the vehicle. Tesco Stratford Road Shirley.
On going patrols are continuing. Thank you to the residents who are helping Police with their investigations.

For more information on choosing a CCTV supplier please see the following link: Ensure that all shrubs and hedges do NOT encroach the maximum height of 1m and Tree canopies are lifted to 1.8m. This allows for maximum natural surveillance. Ensure that all fences are the same height as smaller fencing abutting higher fencing acts as a potential climbing aid for offenders. Ensure that all garden furniture is stored away in a garden shed along with any tools to avoid aiding offenders in committing burglary. Ensure that Wheelie Bins are not stored near to fences and are chained together to prevent them from being used as climbing aids or storing objects in that may aid an offender to commit a crime.
