Weekly update.

Weekly update from the Low Hill, Bushbury North/South and Fallings Park neighbourhood policing team

Good afternoon,

Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the neighbourhood policing team. This week has been a busy week for the local policing neighbourhood team. PCSO’s and PC’s have provided community reassurance, engaging and speaking to local residents. Officers have also continued to conduct hi-visibility patrols around the neighbourhood. PCSO’s have conducted foot patrols in the neighbourhood, as well as conducting numerous speed watch activities around the neighbourhood.

PCSO’s have attended all of the local community centres, and officers attended the local Love Your Community meeting.

What’s been happening.

  • Burglaries
  • Across the 3 neighbourhoods we cover, there have been x0 residential burglaries.

    This is amazing news!

Although this is still low across such a large area this does not mean we should stop doing the basic checks such as locking the doors and making sure all windows are secured.

  • Update on car crime.
  • Over the past 7 days there has been 2 vehicle thefts in and around the area. These are the thefts of:

  • A red Yamaha YZF R125 registration:  FY59FLP
  • A red BMW 325I registration: S99ELT
  • Please ensure that all vehicles are left secure and all personal items are removed from the vehicles and check you fob has done its job.

    As a team we have:

  • PCSO’s have conducted hi-visibility patrols as well as conducting foot patrols within the area, allowing officers to engage with members of the community.
  • Officers have had a strong presence in the community to provide reassurance and address any concerns within the area.
  • PCSO’s have conducted numerous speed watch activities around the neighbourhood.
  • PCSO’s have attended local community centres.
  • Officers have attended the Love Your Community meeting.
