Policing priorities West Midlands

Just over a week remains for you to have your say on the future of policing priorities in the West Midlands.

Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster wants you to influence his Police and Crime Plan 2025-2029, before the consultation period ends on the 14 October.

More than 3,000 people across the West Midlands have already had their voices heard by responding to the Police and Crime Commissioner’s consultation, which he is using to shape his Police and Crime Plan.

He wants to hear what people’s priorities are, what crimes they are most concerned about and their views on the way the police is funded.

The PCC has already committed to rebuilding community policing. He also wants to tackle knife crime, improve safety on the roads and crack down on violence against women and girls.

But he also wants to hear the views of the public before writing the plan.

West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, Simon Foster said: “It is something that matters to us all. With not long left to go, I would urge everybody to have their say.”
