Aldridge & Brownhills Team have been busy across our recent shifts,

We have joined our partners at Safer Travel, British Transport Police and National Express in a bus operation around the Walsall Wood and Brownhills areas.  to tackle youth antisocial behaviour issues where youths have caused criminal damage on local bus routes and refused to pay when boarding the buses. A number of youths have been identified and are being dealt with appropriately.

A prolific shop lifter, who frequents Aldridge & Walsall Wood has been arrested and remains in custody, awaiting sentencing.

PCSO's have engaged with local primary schools and answered questions with regard to their role in the community. The children enjoyed familiarising themselves with the police uniform, equipment and the police van. They loved the sirens, lights and the cage at the rear!

The team have conducted many joint visits with the local housing group across our patch. 

As Halloween is fast approaching, there is some advice attached regarding your concerns around trick or treaters. There is also a printable sign for your front door/porch,to put up if you do not want them to knock your door.
