Henley & Longford

Dear Residents and Local Businesses,

Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:

PATROLS

Officers have been carrying out patrols of the Henley and Longford areas on foot and in vehicles. We have been paying particular attention to locations that have recently experienced an increase in crime.

ARRESTS

Officers from the team have arrested five people this week.

One was for possession of an offensive weapon, One for stalking,

One for sexual assault, one for domestic assault and one for failing to appear at court for driving offences.

VEHICLE SEIZURES

We have seized one vehicle this week as the vehicle’s driver was driving without a licence which invalidates the vehicle’s insurance.

BURGLARY

There has been an increase in burglaries in the Henley & Longford areas recently.

You can find out more about preventing burglaries by clicking this link: Crime prevention advice | West Midlands Police.

If you have information about people committing crime that you want to tell us about, you can contact us on the non-emergency telephone number 101 or by visiting us online at Home | West Midlands Police (west-midlands.police.uk) where you will find access to the LIVE CHAT facility. Alternatively you can contact the CRIMESTOPPERS charity anonymously by calling 0800 555 111. This is a free phone number. CRIMESTOPPERS can also be contacted online here: Independent UK charity taking crime information anonymously | Crimestoppers (crimestoppers-uk.org)

Please do not report crime via WMnow because it is not always monitored.

Kind Regards,

The Henley & Longford Neighbourhood Policing Team
