The East locality team have been extremely busy now the darker nights are here, the team increasing patrols to deter on gong Anti Social Behaviour.  See below a few of the jobs the team have tackled this week;

 

  • A team of Special Constables was out in the locality patrolling ASB hot spots on Halloween.

     

  • Conducted a recent Streetwatch walk with the Shire ridge group.  If you are interested in joining one of our teams across the locality please see below link.

  • The team recovered a stolen vehicle and worked in partnership with West Midlands Fire Service to ensure the vehicle was safe.

     

  • Male arrested for drink driving , the team was at the location to conduct road closures and recover both vehicles. 

     

  • A number of home visits was conducted in partnership with WHG following complaints of ASB and warnings letters issued to the youths involved.

     

  • Working in partnership with Walsall Council the team arranged for the youth bus to be at the locality for youth engagement and intervention.

     

  • PCSO attended a residential property working with partner agencies to tackle a neighbour dispute.
     
  • PCSO attended Beavers at the Scout Hut, Aldridge to discuss safety in the community.
  •  

  • PCSO's attended Aldridge Social Club Village Partnership meeting.

     

  • On Tuesday Aldridge officers arrested a woman on suspicion of carrying out 19 shoplifting thefts where more than £6,000 worth of goods were stolen at shops in the Aldridge area between 18 June and 15 October this year.

  • Shop thefts and shoplifting is a priority at Walsall LPA. We recently launched Op Marigold in a bid to tackle shoplifting across the Walsall borough.

  • A new Problem Solving Team is also now up and running tackling issues across Walsall LPA. This includes issues such shoplifting, anti-social behaviour and exploring civil intervention orders to prevent further offending and reduce crime in our communities.
