Weekly Bloxwich NHT Message

Hello All,

Hope you're having an amazing week, here are some parts of our week of what the Bloxwich NHT have been doing.

What's Been Happening?

The team have been busy this week, achieving two arrests for a range of offences, including, burglary and theft from shops. This arrest came in clutch when PCSOs were on a patrol, during these patrol they found 2 wanted males, they then called for backup to proceed with the arrest of these offenders.

To stop and discourage criminal activity, Bloxwich NHT officers have continued their patrols around Bloxwich High Street which continues to be one notable patrol area where enhanced visibility has been implemented to deter possible criminals. We are continuing with these patrols in order to combat shoplifting, reducing incidents and improving community safety which are the goals of our proactive approach in these hotspot locations and we also conducted patrols around the King George V Playing Fields where there was previous for fires being lit around the area. We continued to patrol this area where we had reports of fireworks being placed and to keep watch on any fires that could be caused by it.

We have also continued to patrol certain areas where ASB and drug using has been identified, this is in part due to you and members of your community submitting and reporting intelligence in relation to this. We strongly recommend you continue to do this to help us continue to report this so we can keep your area safe!

This can be done by calling 101, crime-stoppers, or by visiting our website!

  • Attend an organised firework display if possible.
  • If you are having a bonfire at home, make sure it is in a safe location and that you have a bucket of water or a fire extinguisher nearby.
