Hello Resident We're thrilled to see so many people enjoying the Christmas Market and all the town centre has to offer. We've teamed up with the local council and Sutton Coldfield BID to increase patrols in the town to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.
Our friendly officers will be around, keeping an eye on things and chatting with local businesses and stall holders. We’ll also been handing out crime prevention advice and freebies to help keep you safe this festive season. There are some basic tips you can follow to help us keep you safe: Always use licensed taxis and avoid unlicensed cabs. Share the location of your taxi or send a photo of the registration to friends or family. And remember, your safety is our priority. On nights out, many local bars and venues have implemented measures to prevent drink spiking. You can also use the "Ask for Angela" scheme to discreetly signal to bar staff if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. If you see or hear something that doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and report it to security where you are or police straight away. Don’t wait for someone else to do it.
