Right Place, Right Time - PSPO

Hello Resident

Erdington Officers were in the right place at the right time last week.

Officers have gone to Lidl to get their refreshments a shoplifter has came running out of the store.

Officers have gave chase and caught the shoplifter they had load of meats in their possession.

We have also linked to them other outstanding offences and investigation is still ongoing.

Birmingham City Council is considering the renewal of the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) to combat anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Erdington

PSPO's are part of the ASB legislation which was introduced nationally in October 2014. This order will provide the Police and designated Council Officers, with additional powers across a defined geographical area, to tackle a wide range of anti-social behaviours.

This consultation is now live until midnight on the 11th December 2024 and it is your opportunity to put forward any views and opinions
