Notification of Attempted Break In

There has been an attempted break in in Swan Crescent, Langley, where offenders have attempted to gain entry to a property via the rear access.

On this occasion, no access was gained, although damage was caused to the door.

Please be aware that there is always an increased risk at this time of the year.  Ensure all doors and windows are closed and secured. Now the long dark nights are set in leave a light on or set them on a timer, if you are not at home, and close your curtains.  Use security lighting outside and set your house alarm if you have one fitted.  CCTV, esp door cams are also a good deterrent.

With Christmas just around the corner, please keep presents out of site.  They look beautiful under the Christmas tree but are very tempting to the opportunist burglar!
