Local News..


The team have been extremely busy over the last week with horrendous storms which put a tremendous strain on all emergency services workers.  We hope you all stayed safe.

 

Here's just some of the jobs the neighbourhood team have attended this week;

 

PCSO's attended a police surgery at Streetly Community Library and liased with the councillor about local issues.  Whilst at the library the PCSO's joined the story telling session and read a book to the children.

 

PCSO's attended to a partnership meeting concerning Anti Social Behaviour in Walsall Wood and Brownhills which is ongoing.  A lot of work has been completed in the background, trailing through CCTV which has resulted in offenders being ID and appropriate action taken.  Parents have been visited by police, Walsall Council and Housing, needed.

 

A stolen vehicle was found and recovered by officers in Brownhills. 

 

A member of the public reported two suitcases being found in some bushes near Brownhills high street, valuable contents inside which have been booked into our property -  Investigations are ongoing. 

 

Officers have conducted various reassurance visits to Domestic Violent victims in the locality.    If you are a victim of Domestic Violence please see below link on various ways to report crime.

PCSO's have been visiting victims of vehicle crime in Streetly.  Reassurance and crime prevention advice has been discussed, packs given to victims containing information on how to deter thieves which include Faraday pouches.  See link below for more crime prevention advice;

PCSO's responded to an abandoned call in Aldridge , reassurance was offered to an elderly gent.

 

PCSO's conducted house to house enquiries in Walsall Wood following reports of attempted theft of motor vehicle.
