What’s been happening? Good news

Earlier on this week, the team supported by the Solihull Early Help team conducted an input with scouts aged between 11 and 18 from the 1st Kingshurst Scout Group, focusing on knife crime. Additionally, for the first time, pioneering virtual reality technology was utilised outside a school setting and school hours. Specifically, VR headsets were provided offering related interactive experiences allowing users to make choices and understand their consequences in a safe space. The team will continue to conduct engagement in innovative ways as much as possible.

The team also had pop up stalls at the Castle Bromwich Morrisons over the set, focusing on violence against women and girls as part of a recent awareness campaign by the force, amongst other matters.

The team have also made the following arrests

One female for 5 shop thefts.

One female for Burglary.

One male and female for obscene publications.

One male for domestic abuse and harassment.

One male for domestic abuse, controlling and coercive behaviour.
