Chelmsley Team Newsletter 3rd Jan 2025 Happy New Year, wishing you all the best for 2025.
WOW Chelmsley Wood Streetwatch clocked up 105hrs of patrols in 2024. Now that is dedication, together we can make a difference. Last night it was extremely cold but we still went out and walked the streets, reported fly tipping and visited local shop keepers.
If you fancy joining our hardy band of volunteers drop me a message vicki.poole@westmidlands.police.uk
It looks like the cold snap is staying with us including the possibility of snow over the weekend, so do remember our FROSTY advice and never leave your vehicle to warm up unattended. You never know where those opportunist thieves will be, and if a vehicle is stolen whilst unattended with the engine running the insurance might be void.
Crime Update You will notice number plate thefts in that list again, please consider replacing the screws that hold the plates on with anti-theft screws. We can help you with this, I have a tub of these screws to give out. I know a lot of you are in communication with your neighbours via various social media groups, NHW & WhatsApp, if one of the group would like to email me we can arrange a date for a visit to your road to meet as many residents as possible and get your plates secure.
Dates for your Diary 2025 Tuesday 21st Jan, Cuppa with a Coppa 18:00 x 19:30hrs at Three Trees, Hedingham Grove. Saturday 22nd Feb, Chelmsley Wood Parish Council Residents Hub 10:00 x 12:00 at Onward Club Berwicks Lane. This is an excellent multi agency meeting hosted by the Parish Council. Stay safe and warm Regards PCSO Vicki | ||||
