Dear Resident Hope you are well and keeping warm in this very cold snap. Your local neighbourhood team have been out and about all over the beat that we cover dealing with logs/incidents and calls to service from our local communities. An offender was arrested earlier in the week for Possession with intent to supply CCTV enquires conducted due to theft from local shop Knife sweeps in Palfrey park Visits to some of our local partners to arrange events/meetings Frosty morning patrols to try to deter any theft of motor vehicles and re-assure residents. ( We had no vehicle crime due to Frosty Mornings ) Thank you to everyone for your help and support as this type of crime is common during Frosty mornings, when vehicles are left unattended while thawing out. High visibility patrols both in vehicles and on foot around our neighbourhoods helping to give that re-assurance our communities want. Acquisitive crime remains very low and we cannot thank our communities enough for helping to keep our communities safe, helping each other, supporting each other, looking out for one another and just being that good neighbour, it really does make a difference. And it makes a huge difference when it comes to crime.
Crime Paddock Neighbourhood ( ParkHall/Chuckery ) We have no Aquisitive crime to report over the last 5 days
Delves/Palfrey Neighbourhood Theft of Motor vehicle ( Ford Ranger ) from Lord Street Theft of tools from a garden shed ( New mills street )
Please remember 999 Emergency 101 Non Emergency Webchat
Kind regards Delves police neighbourhood team
