Dear Resident

Here is a round-up of what has been happening in Willenhall South, New Invention, and Short Heath this last week.

ASB!

  • Willenhall officers have continued to patrol Willenhall Town Centre with Enforcement Officers from the Community Protection Team at Walsall Council.  A group of youths have been seen in Lidl causing ASB.   These youths will be issued with ASB warning letters. 
  • Several calls have been made to the Police regarding off road bikes around Coppice Farm and the Beacon Estate, any information please get in touch.
  • A vehicle was seized in Willenhall South for no road tax, the tax expired in April 2024 and parked in a dangerous position. 
  • A joint visit was conducted to a block of flats in New Invention regarding smoking of cannabis. 
  • Pcso’s have attended the following community activities around Willenhall:
  • Bereavement Support at St Giles Church. This is held every Monday, 10:30am - 12pm

    The Hive, New Invention Macmillan Cancer Awareness.

    Cosy Corner at The Chart Centre, Gomer Street. This is held every Thursday, 5:30pm - 7:30pm. 

    Wellbeing Walk in Willenhall Memorial Park.  This is held every Friday at 10:30hrs, meeting at the bandstand.

    Everyone is welcome to attend. 

    OP Advance!

    Willenhall officers have taken part in Op Advance:

    Officers have visited Priory Hospital Lakeside View on Noose Lane.   We have engaged with Staff and patient and discussed how we can work together.   

    1 female arrested for a court warrant. 

    Pcso’s have attended the Holy Trinity Church in Short Heath, we have engaged with children that came to  the Brownies and Rainbows.   We give the children a  talk on stranger danger.   

    We have continued to patrol Willenhall Town Centre and Willenhall Memorial Park due to the on-going ASB.
