Dear Resident
Here is a round-up of what has been happening in Willenhall South, New Invention, and Short Heath over the last couple of weeks.
We are continuing with our patrols in Willenhall Town Centre with Walsall Council Enforcement Officers and engaging with local businesses. This week on 25/03 and 26/03 we were joined by Councillor Cheema. We are all working together to ensure everyone feels safe in their community.
We are getting reports of off-road bikes in all areas, please continue to report these incidents as we will need these locations for when we plan our next off-road bike operation. We are patrolling the locations that have already been highlighted. Whilst on patrols we have also witnessed off road bikes and we are collecting information for our next off -road bike operation.
On 24/03 we conducted a litter pick around Willenhall Town Centre and surrounding area. We collected 84 bags rubbish in 1 hour. A big thank you to Councillor Cheema, Willenhall Wombles, Keir Construction, Arx Apparrel & PPE and Walsall Healthy Spaces.
On 26/03 we attended Pool Hayes Primary with a guest speaker from Precious Lives to speak to year 6 about Choices, Consequences and Knife Crime. The pupils listened and asked loads of interesting questions.
We have seen an increase in theft of motor vehicles, please see below for more information on how to protect your vehicle.
You can find information related to a number of other crime types to help keep you, your loved ones and your property safe, visit: https://www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/
Next week we will be visiting more schools and continue engaging with young people.
