Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Dudley North Neighbourhood Policing Team.

What’s been happening:

• Off-Road Bikes in Green Spaces

It’s that time of the year with off-road bikes buzzing through the green spaces around Dudley North. Your continued reports of off-road bikes and quadbikes is essential for us to submit our bid to have our off-road bike team who use motorbikes to apprehend offenders. 

Information we continue to seek out includes the identities of the off-road bike users and the locations of where the off-road bikes are being kept. Armed with this type of information, we can visit addresses to issue anti-social behaviour notices, and possibly, even seize bikes from the location.

• Parking Issues around Schools

We have been contacting Dudley Council in regards to the chaotic parking that takes place before and after school hours. We have told an outsourced traffic enforcement team can be deployed at schools that have reached out for aid in tackling the problem at hand. 

Dangerous parking could lead to serious injuries and block essential access that the emergency services need in order to attend jobs. Please avoid parking 10 metres from a junction, parking across from a junction, parking on yellow or white zig-zags, and parking on dropped curbs – to name a few as a friendly reminder to avoid creating unnecessarily dangerous situations.

• Coseley Library Police Surgery – Monday 28th April 11:00 – 12:00
