We will be using WMnow to tell you about actions we have taken each set of 6 shifts regarding our newly agreed neighbourhood priorities following our recent PACT meeting.

If you wish to attend the next PACT meeting to provide your opinion on where your local Police priorities should lie, the next meeting will be held at 18:00 on Monday 2nd June at Bentley Community Centre, Wilkes Avenue.

We have a number of meetings over the next week also: a coffee morning at Bentley Community Centre Wilkes Avenue on Friday 28th March at 11:00 and a Police surgery at Darlaston Library, King Street at 11:00.

Drug dealing

Officers have been conducting patrols in known hotspot area. Officers are gathering information to act in the near future on individuals involved in drug dealing. 

 

Speeding and parking around our schools 

We are committed to being at our schools for start and finish times during our duty times to help tackle this issue. PCSO’s have been present at various schools in the area for these times and have moved on/educated a large number of drivers parking in obstructive and dangerous positions and will continue to do so. We are working with the local authority and will have civil enforcement Officers in company of Officers in the coming weeks to assist us in dealing with those who continue to put children and parents at risk parking in dangerous/obstructive positions. 

Patrols were conducted at St Josephs School , Darlaston with no issues to report, a big thank you to all the considerate drivers for their cooperation 

 

Off road bikes/electric bikes 

Officers responded to multiple calls regarding off road bike use, we are continuing to gather information on those involved to allow us to act in the near future. 

 

Other actions

1 x Vehicle recovered for no TAX

2 x community resolution have been concluded that has resulted in offenders having to pay substantial monies to the injured parties

Multiple suspects for on-going investigations interviewed, who will be charged with offences taken place in Darlaston.

Large number of calls for service responded too by the neighbourhood team
