Dear Resident

Here is a round-up of what has been happening in Willenhall South, New Invention, and Short Heath over the last couple of weeks.

We are continuing with our patrols in Willenhall Town Centre with Walsall Council Enforcement Officers and engaging with local businesses. We have seen a reduction in the ASB and will be planning some more patrols with Walsall Enforcement Officers over the Easter school holidays.

We have had reports of youths running across the roofs of the Brackendale shops. We will be closely monitoring this area and when the youths are identified they will be spoken to and advised about their behaviour and the dangers.

Officers have attended a few addresses in Willenhall with Community Protection Officers regarding dogs, noise and rubbish.

Whilst on patrol Officers have come across a vehicle that had parked in a tight position, checks were conducted and reports came back that it had be stolen. It was great to be able to return the vehicle to its rightful owner without any damage.

A stolen motor bike was recovered from Dartmouth Avenue, thank you to the member of public for reporting it and bringing it to our attention.

Over the last couple of weeks 2 shoplifters have been arrested and charged.

The clocks went forward last weekend, it’s the time of year we all start working on our gardens. Please put all your tools and lawnmowers away in your shed and lock it.

Today Officers met with MP Brackenridge at The Homestead PH for a constituency coffee morning at the Homestead Pub, Stroud Avenue.

We have seen an increase in theft of motor vehicles, please see below for more information on how to protect your vehicle.
