We'll be executing warrants, tackling retail crime and working to keep the roads safe as a police operation returns to Dudley today (10 April).
Our existing teams will be supported by specialist resources from across the force to help address concerns across the borough during #OpAdvance.
We'll be can looking to arrest wanted suspects and tackle issues we know matter to both residents and businesses including violent crime, road safety, anti-social behaviour and shop theft.
We'll have both visible and plain-clothed officers on duty and will be working with partners on some planned joint activity. This includes both enforcement, engagement and education with some crime prevention advice.
Chief Inspector Adam Henderson, from Dudley Police, said: "We’re always listening to our communities so we understand the issues which cause concern.
"The return of Op Advance will enable us to carry out activity to tackle some of these.
"It's important to stress this is an extension of what we're already doing day in, day out, to ensure the whole borough is a great place to live, work and visit.
"But the additional resources over the 24-hour period enables us to really address those issues we know cause an impact on you. You can expect to see officers at various locations across Dudley so come over and have a chat about what we’re doing.”
