We will be using WMnow to tell you about actions we have taken regarding our newly agreed neighbourhood priorities following our recent PACT meeting.

If you wish to attend the next PACT meeting to provide your opinion on where your local Police priorities should lie, the next meeting will be held at 18:00 on Monday 2nd June at Bentley Community Centre, Wilkes Avenue.

We are going to be at Bentley Food Hub on Churchill Road on Thursday 24th April at 11:00 – 13:00 for a 1-1 drop in session where the community can speak to an officer in private regarding any issues they want to discuss.

Drug dealing

Local neighbourhood Officers have been conducting patrols in known hotspot areas. We also deal with the investigative side of some of these related offences are imminently submitting a file to the Crown Prosecution Service regarding a possession with intent to supply investigation class C investigation.

Speeding and parking around our schools

Schools have been on half term throughout our set.

Off road bikes/electric bikes

Officers have been on patrol in hotspot locations gaining further information about those in the community who are involved in this issue, as well as the completion of 3 x Section 59 notices to individuals identified as being involved in anti-social off-road motor bike use.

Other actions

1 x male arrested for failing to appear at court for a domestic assault

1 x male arrested for failing to appear at court for a sexual assault

1 x drop in session held by PCSO’s where members of the community came to discuss local issues

1 x male charged with theft from a shop following a shoplifting incident

2 x incidents dealt with via community resolutions where offenders are able to make up for their actions by repaying the victim without the matter going to court as per the victim wishes.

Officers have been working hard to prepare case files for the Crown Prosecution Services regarding on going investigations in the local area.

Officers have responded to multiple calls for service including a high risk missing person who was thankfully later found.
