Hello Resident,
Another week (or so) has gone by and your neighbourhood team has been hard at work in and amongst the community to keep you all safe! Here is a recap of what’s been going on.
What's Been Happening? We hope you all had a pleasant Easter weekend, and were able to enjoy it stress-free! We have all still been patrolling the local area, so hopefully you have still been noticing police officers around both on foot and in the marked cars. From feedback on the “Love Your Community” meeting last week, we have been targeting new areas for drug dealing that we were not specifically aware of, and worked these into our patrol strategy. Further people have been spoken to in regards to the incidents, as well as new intelligence being generated for officers to use in the near future if this is to continue.
A Big Thank-You to… Everyone who has spotted us and spoken to us when we have been out on duty on foot patrols! Reporting incidents and suspicious activity is becoming more prevalent, which is good! As we become aware of new areas to target for our patrol strategy, or build evidence towards warrants or arrests of high-profile people within the community. Based on intelligence gathered from recent weeks, the neighbourhood team are building towards a warrant for an area that gathers and deals drugs. We continue to ask you to report anything you deem as suspicious or criminal activity, by any of the following channels! Or through Crimestoppers.
Look Out For… Upcoming events and updates we have in and amongst the community – our web-page is consistently being updated with new community meetings we have.
Our next “Love Your Community” meeting is on Thursday 1st May from 6pm - 8pm, at St Chads & St Marks Church Community Room.
Keep an eye out on our homepage for the updates and upcoming events.
Next Week… You may see a drop of messages now and again in-between these weekly round-ups, but if you need us urgently please continue to use 101, 999 in an emergency, or visit our website! Until then, thank you for your time reading! Please feel free to share this around, and we will be in touch!
Thank you, and stay safe! Gemma and Alex, Police Community Support Officers | ||||
