Hello,

Please could you take some time to read the below message from Rod Rose who is the Site and Enforcement Manager for Dudley Council. He is looking to create a better working relationship between Dudley Councils ASB Out of Hours Team, Street Officers and Neighbourhood Watch and Streetwatch members. If you and your members are interested in working with Rod and his team please reply to the email on the bottom of the message and NOT via Wmnow.

Hello

I am the manager of the DMBC Street Officers and ASB Out of Hours Teams (OOH)

The Street Officer Team consist of 3 staff members who work primarily Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. Their objectives are to patrol ASB Hot Spots across the Dudley Borough and to form positive working partnerships with residents, businesses, and Community groups across the Borough.

The OOH Team consists of 5 staff members who work a shift system covering 6:00pm till 2:00am, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The OOH Team respond to calls for service made to DMBC from residents across the Borough (regardless of their tenure status as council tenants, private renters or owner occupiers) wishing to report ASB. The OOH Team will respond to the complainant and then engage with the person(s) causing the ASB, the same evening.

I am very keen for my staff to have regular contact with the NHW and Street Watch co-ordinators across the Borough to aid us in builder stronger partnership working. I’d be very grateful if you could contact me on the following email address if you are willing to work with me and my staff to achieve our objective:  Rod.Rose@dudley.gov.uk

Thank You.
