Your Weekly Bablake Update.

Weekly Update from your local Bablake NPT

Dear Members

Here’s your weekly update from myself and the rest of the team.

What’s Been Happening

. Burglaries

Good news, again, no burglaries reported this week.

With the weather being warm at the moment, having windows and doors open is the most natural thing to do BUT remember to close and lock them before going out.

. Vehicle Crime

Only one report of a vehicle being broken into. This happened on Bennetts Road.

Remember to lock your car before leaving it because you never know who will take advantage.

You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com

. In other News

The team have been extremely busy investigating all crimes reported in the area. CCTV and house to house enquiries can take quite a bit of time to complete but we have had some good results. Offenders have been identified and named. Next step…… a visit from officers and arrest made 😊

The team have also had large number of prisoners to deal with for various offences in the area. All being dealt with appropriately for the crime they have committed.

We might have been busy arresting people but we have also made time to conduct patrols in the area.

A little advise, when you see officers on patrol, please don’t run away leaving all your “goodies” in your unlocked car. Officers can run fast and will catch you. This male was caught garden hopping!! Search of his car and a large quantity of drugs found, (maybe that's why he ran 😊) male arrested and charged.

Officers on patrol have also recovered a motorbike. Checks on it showed that it had been stolen from Cheylesmore around the middle of May.

Other patrols have been done in areas which have been highlighted as having problems.……..Glad to say all safe and well.

Until next week,

Stay safe everyone.
