Delves neighbourhood team updates

Dear Resident

Over the last few days the team have been out around our neighbourhood locations.

On Friday officers visited Pleck park with our Community Van and joined Street teams and other partners with large numbers of the community attending the event, it was a great opportunity to do some positive engagement.

Saturday we attended Morrison's supermarket Bescot, again engaging with shoppers. Then onto Palfrey Park again engaging with park users.

Crime

We had a Burglary in Lincoln road, Chuckery. Items were taken from the property and a vehicle stolen. The vehicle was later recovered and items taken from the property also recovered. Two offenders arrested, enquires ongoing.

Theft of motor vehicle from Broadway ( Audi ) this was located in Tipton.

Theft of motor vehicle from Redhouse street ( Mini )  This was later found in Palfrey.

A female was arrested for shop theft

Several stop searches conducted by officers during the course of the week.

This week we celebrate the work of all the volunteers who contribute to make our communities a far better place for everyone. Here in Walsall we have a army of volunteers doing a variety of roles and it matters, it really matters. Volunteers  genuinely change communities, and we the Delves police neighbourhood team are forever grateful. Tim and Mo will always stop and have a chat to our volunteers because we are under no illusion the impact they have.

The kids are back at school, and adults back at work so please ensure you do your best to maintain your crime prevention check list.
