Crime Update

Dear residents of LYNDON,

Here are the crime updates for LYNDON between 9th June-17th JUNE 2025.

Burglary

Unknown people attempted to break in to a house on BERWOOD GROVE. The resident was out and when they returned home, they found that, the glass panel of their door had been smashed. No items have been reported missing.

Vehicle Crime

A Vauxhall Corsa was stolen from EVENLODE CLOSE. Unknown people broke in to the owner’s house, located the car keys and stole the vehicle.

A Ford Kuga was stolen from CAMPDEN GREEN. It is believed that, unknown people have used a relay device in order to access the vehicle, as no keys were taken and there was no obvious sign of damage in the area where it was parked.

A Vauxhall Corsa was “cannibalised” on WHICHCOMBE ROAD. This term is used when a vehicle has been stripped or partly stripped of some of its part. In this case, the front bumper and headlights were taken. This trend is becoming increasingly more common.

I/We have been speaking to residents where these offences have occurred and checked CCTV at the locations and we have targeted patrols in the area at key times.

If you would like to help Solihull Police to investigate crime you can do so by registering your CCTV or camera doorbell, to read more about that visit….
