Bordesley Green Neighbourhood Team – Weekly Update
Edition: 29TH June 2025
Welcome to this week’s crime and community update for the Bordesley Green area. Our neighbourhood team remains committed to tackling key crime issues affecting residents, especially around domestic abuse, burglary, and vehicle crime. We also continue to engage with schools and local partners to provide early intervention and support.
🛑 Crime Updates
Domestic Abuse (DA)
➡️ Domestic abuse remains a key priority for the team. We urge anyone experiencing abuse, or who suspects someone is at risk, to seek support or report it. All reports are taken seriously and handled with care.
Robbery
➡️ Stay safe by staying alert in public spaces, avoiding distractions like mobile phones, and keeping valuables out of sight. If you feel unsafe or see suspicious behaviour, please contact us immediately.
Burglary
➡️ Please remain vigilant and review your home security — consider alarms, Anti snap-locks, CCTV, and good lighting. Secure windows and doors, especially when leaving your home unattended.
Vehicle Crime
Colonial Road /Somerville Road ➡️ Keyless entry theft remains a concern. Please use Faraday pouches, remove visible items, and consider physical deterrents like steering wheel locks.
Other Crime Types
➡️ Each of these matters is under investigation. We encourage continued community vigilance and reporting of suspicious activity.

- A letter will be going out o residents of Frankton Grove on Saturday due to complaints of parking. However this is tight Grove and we would rather have a sensible solution that the residents agree with. As such we will host a meeting there to gather thoughts and agree on a plan moving forward
