Dear resident,

A car crime has been reported in your neighbourhood.

If you saw or heard anything or have any information about the below incident please call our non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference number provided.

Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

Reference: 20/295755/25.
Location: Solihull Retirement Village, Victoria Crescent.
Date and time: Between 09:00am on the 18/06/2025 and 14:00pm on the 02/07/2025.
Details: Individual(s) have stolen the wing mirrors to a blue Fiat 500 that was parked in the Solihull Retirement Village car park.

Where possible, avoid leaving valuables and tools in your vehicle overnight and make sure that your vehicle is locked before you leave it. Officers from your local neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting high visibility patrols in the area in a bid to prevent further offences and try to catch offenders. PLEASE CONSIDER INSTALLING A STEERING WHEEL LOCK ON YOUR VEHICLE, AS THIS CAN DETER VEHICLE OFFENDERS.

A steering wheel lock is a great deterrent against vehicle theft. Car alarms, immobilisers and trackers are also worth investing in. Good quality CCTV equipment covering your driveway is also a deterrent and can give officers valuable footage to assist with apprehending thieves.

We are partnered with Disklok to provide WMNow users with an exclusive 15% discount on their Disklok (yellow model only) and covers/ storage cases. To utilise this offer visit https://www.disklokuk.co.uk/ and enter the code wmpdisk24 in the coupon code box at checkout.
