Burglary – Between 26th June 2025 at 2000 hours and 0300 hours on 27th June 2025, an unknown offender has entered a property using the key safe, stole numerous items and left property. 

Theft of a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of theft of a motor vehicle in Smith’s Wood between 26th June 2025 and 04th July 2025. 

Theft from a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of theft from motor vehicle in Smith’s Wood between 26th June 2025 and 04th July 2025. 

Interference with a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of Interference with a motor vehicle in Smith’s Wood between 26th June 2025 and 04th July 2025.  

Kingshurst 

Burglary – There has been no reports of Burglary in Kingshurst between 26th June 2025 and 04th July 2025.  

Theft of a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of theft of a motor vehicle in Kingshurst between 26th June 2025 and 04th July 2025. 

Theft from a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of theft from motor vehicle in Kingshurst between 26th June 2025 and 04th July 2025. 

Interference with a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of Interference with a motor vehicle in Kingshurst between 26th June 2025 and 04th July 2025.  

Officers from the Smiths wood neighbourhood team are continuing to conduct proactive patrols and take preventative measures to tackle vehicle crime, across all Smiths wood, Kingshurst and Castle Bromwich.

What’s been happening? Good news   

Your local dedicated officers have made 3 arrests. One female arrested for threats to kill. Then, one male for five shop theft offences. And, one male has been issued a Community Protection Warning in relation to anti-social behaviour. 

Your local designated officers have today carried out a community speed watch on Water Orton Road, Castle Bromwich. Out of 206 cars, 15 will be issued warning letters in relation to their speed.
