Street-Watch

Dear residents, Bilston North,

I'm PCSO 31005 Gavin Chandler and currently assist with two street-Watch groups in the North Bilston area.

The two groups are Chiltern Drive, Stowlawn and Hawkswell Drive, Portobello.

StreetWatch is a community-led initiative in partnership with the West Midlands Police, where residents patrol their local area to deter crime and anti-social behavior. It's about building a stronger sense of community, increasing visibility, and reporting any suspicious activity to the authorities, Each group has a single point of contact or designated co coordinator/leader who liaises with other members to organise times and dates of patrol. I often join the groups on patrol and we do this for an hour twice a month

Both groups patrol the area surrounding their named streets which are the Stowlawn and Portobello areas respectively.
