Burglary – There has been no reports of Burglary in Kingshurst between 05 July 2025 and 13 July 2025. 

 

Theft of motor vehicle – There has been no reports of Theft of motor vehicle between 05 July 2025 and 13 July 2025.

 

Theft from a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of Theft from a motor vehicle between 05 July 2025 and 13 July 2025. 

 

Interference with a motor vehicle – There have been 1 report of Interference with a motor vehicle between 05 July 2025 and 13 July 2025

 

Around 0100 hours on 05 July 2025, an unknown offender attempted to open the door of a vehicle on Cooks lane but he wasn’t successful. CCTV has been obtained and its currently under investigation.

Burglary – There have been 2 report of a residential burglary between 05 July 2025 and 13 July 2025.

 

Between 0001 and 0900 hours on 09 July 2025 an unknown offender entered a property through an insecure rear door on Sheppey drive and stolen money.

 

Around 0040 hours on 13 July 2025, an unknown offender gained access to a property on Lanchester way. Nothing has been reported as stolen.

 

Theft of motor vehicle – There have been 2 reports of Theft of motor vehicles between 05 July 2025 and 13 July 2025. 

 

Between 2100 hours on 05 July 2025 and 1100 hours on 06 July 2025, a vehicle on Daren close was stolen by offenders through unknown means. 

 

Between 1200 and 1800 hours on Auckland drive, a bike was stolen by unknown offenders. 

 

Theft from a motor vehicle – There have been 1 report of Theft from a motor vehicle between 05 July 2025 and 13 July 2025.

 

Between 2200 hours on 10 July 2025 and 0700 hours on 11 July 2025, unknown suspects have stolen front and rear VRM plates. 

 

 

Interference with a motor vehicle – There has been no reports of Interference with a motor vehicle between 5 July 2025 and 13 July 2025.

 

Officers from the Smiths wood neighbourhood team are continuing to conduct proactive patrols and take preventative measures to tackle vehicle crime, across all Smiths wood, Kingshurst and Castle Bromwich.

Your local dedicated officers have been 8 arrests for the following offences:

 

1 arrest for breach of court bail, 1 arrest for assault, 2 arrests for harassment, 1 arrest for non-fatal strangulation, 2 arrests for indecent images offence, and 1 arrest for theft of motor vehicle and fraud offences.

Officers will be offering free bike security marking.

Bike marking helps to deter cycle thieves and reunites stolen bikes back to their owners.
