Team round up news

Dear resident

Hope you are all well and having a good start to your week.

Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the couple of weeks in the Blakenall/Leamore/Birchills and Beechdale area.

  • Further patrols and engagement with partner agencies in relation to concerns raised in the Shearwater and Turnstone areas of Coalpool.
  • The team whilst conducting enquiries at the B&M Store Reedswood Retail park, apprehended x2 people who had come to the store to steal, they were promptly dealt with by the teams’ officers and brought into custody where they were charged with shoplifting (17/07/25)
  • The team have attended and patrolled Swannies Field and the Lea after incidents of fighting/assaults had been reported to us between youths.
  • Officers from the team also arrested a male in regards failure to appear to the courts. The male was then further arrested for the possession of class A drugs. (18/07/25).
