Good evening Resident
Over the last set, we’re continuing to conduct hi-visibility patrols in the area to prevent crime and to provide reassurance to the local community. We’ve had a small amount of crime that has occurred over the last set.
CRIME UPDATES:
Theft from a motor vehicle 28/07/25 on FORDBRIDGE ROAD Theft from a motor vehicle 22/08/25 on CRABTREE DRIVE Theft of a motor vehicle on 22/07/25 on LAMBOURNE GROVE Attempted theft of a motor vehicle on 19/07/25 on CHARLBURY AVENUE Unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle on 22/07/25 on MOAT CROFT
Fordbridge officers have a date in their diary for the 13th of August at the Riverside family hub – please come along for their beat surgery to engage with local officers so you can speak about any concerns you may have. Our officers have arrested a male for breach of bail conditions and he is now assisting with our enquiries – officers were on routine patrol when they spotted the male, and he was swiftly arrested and brought into custody. If you’re interested in signing up for speed-watch and live in Fordbridge, please contact your Fordbridge officers on; AARON.FOLEY@westmidlands.policeuk PAUL.DARBYSHIRE@westmidlands.police.uk
TOWN CENTRE UPDATES
Town centre officers are continuing to enforce the PSPO that is currently in place which forbids people from wearing balaclavas, riding bikes within the restricted area, and congregating in groups of 3 after 6PM. PC Patel and PCSO Foley were on the interchange during our earlies and lates deterring ASB in the area and continuously educating ASB nominals on the restrictions that are in place.
In other news, don’t forget, we’re having a cuppa with a coppa at Lily’s Tea Parlour on the 13th of August 2025 – it would be great to see you there so you can voice any of your concerns to your local officers.
Until next set, stay safe.
