Chelmsley Wood Newsletter 29th July 2025
We’ve had a busy week with the Chelmsley Wood Street watch Team, we had a great day on Saturday at Chelmunds day, celebrating all things Chelmsley Wood and raising awareness of the great work that Street Watch does.
New recruit? Do you fancy joining us? don’t use the email on the picture Ooops old card, send your enquiry to streetwatch@westmidlands.police.uk Then when out on a patrol with them on Sunday we came across a stolen vehicle on Woodlands Way, Street Watch continued their walk and we recovered the vehicle for further enquiries.
Last Friday myself and PC Stiles visited with Daylight North group at SoLO, Solihull Life Opportunities and we look forward to welcoming them through our gates on Wednesday 6th August for the Police Station Open Day. Cuppa with a Coppa,
I really do make you a cuppa and this time we even had cupcakes. This is your opportunity to come and see us in a relaxed setting, we are available to listen to your neighbourhood concerns, help solve community issues and offer crime prevention advice. We hold a monthly meeting at Three Trees and I try to vary the evenings they are held on. If there is another venue on Chelmsley Wood that you would like me to try and arrange a time and date please drop me a reply.
Crime Update

Town Centre Update Town centre officers are continuing to enforce the PSPO that is currently in place which forbids people from wearing balaclavas, riding bikes within the restricted area, and congregating in groups of 3 after 6PM. PC Patel and PCSO Foley were on the interchange during our earlies and lates deterring ASB in the area and continuously educating ASB nominals on the restrictions that are in place.
In other news, don’t forget, we’re having a cuppa with a coppa at Lily’s Tea Parlour on the 13th of August 2025 – it would be great to see you there so you can voice any of your concerns to your local officers.
Until next time Stay safe & well PCSO Vicki & PC Stiles | ||
