Dear residents of LYNDON,
Here are the crime updates for LYNDON between 07th SEPTEMBER -15th SEPTEMBER 2025.
BURGLARY
BARRINGTON ROAD- Unknown suspects have tried to steal a VW GOLF by keyless means and were disturbed by the victim and made off. Unknown suspects have then returned and entered the front porch and kicked a wooden panel of the front door while asking for the vehicle keys. Unknown suspects have then left and caused damage to the ring door bell and vehicle’s wing mirror.
VEHICLE CRIME
KIMBERLEY ROAD- unknown suspects have stolen a BMW via keyless means and made off with the vehicle. Vehicle was recovered, as it was fitted with a tracker.
CASTLE LANE- two unknown males attempted to gain entry to a van in order to steal it, however they made off after being disturb by the owner.
ARUNDEL CRESCENT-A FORD FOCUS TITANIUM was stolen from the drive way via keyless means. No access was gained to the house.
WAGON LANE- unknown suspects have gained entry to a BMW 320D parked on the drive way via keyless means. Victim disturbed the suspects and they have made off without the vehicle.
HARVARD ROAD-A HONDA CIVIC was stolen from the drive way via keyless means.
PIERCE AVENUE- Unknown suspects have stolen a BMW 320TI from the drive way via keyless means.
HOWARD ROAD- Unknown suspect has smashed the side window of a SKODA RAPID and entered the vehicle. Nothing was stolen.
I/We have been speaking to residents where these offences have occurred and checked CCTV at the locations and we have targeted patrols in the area at key times.

GOOD NEWS We have been patrolling the drug hot spots in LYNDON and conducting several stop and searches in relation to drug dealing. Some stop and searches were positive, with drugs being taken off the street.
We have also been working with SOLIHULL HOUSING targeting anti-social behaviour and conducted numerous house visits. We are also working with SOLIHULL HOUSING in applying for closing orders at some of the properties that were identified as being involved in anti-social behaviour.
