Appeal of information and a check in |
||
Good morning Elmdon,
Its been a couple weeks since you last heard from me, this is due to annual leave and some other things going on. I believe PCSO Beard and other members of the team have been sending this message out. I am now back and after catching up on 200 plus emails and some other paperwork, will be out and about as normal. I hope you have all been well in the meantime.
Starting this message off on a positive, here are the local good news updates from PCSO Smith a colleague from the LEOS team: > The team arrested a prolific thief in the area who has now been recalled to prison and is also facing knife crime offences. He was caught in the act and detained until police arrived. Another one off the streets. > The team arrested a suspect in relation to a high value fraud and theft to assist detectives in Coventry. The suspect received an early morning wakeup from the team he wasn’t expecting. > Officers from the team took part in a recent exercise at the NEC over the weekend which involved the Ambulance Service, The Fire Brigade, The RAF and a number of other agencies to continue to develop and build on our joint working abilities and sharpen our skills should a major incident take place. In addition to the above, I am happy to report that following a drug warrant being executed in the local area, a man has pled guilty to Cultivation of Cannabis. The team received intelligence from all of you people, that there was a house being used as a cannabis grow. Officers executed a warrant and found a man hiding in a tree in the neighbour’s garden. Needless to say, he attempted to evade prosecution during interview, however officers were able to gather enough evidence and the defendant pled guilty at court. His sentencing is this week.
Thank you all for providing the information we needed to disrupt this criminal organisation, take drugs off the street and bring justice to criminals. This proves that the information you send us, is investigated and is acted on appropriately, please continue to pass this on to me or report online on the link below: Report a crime | West Midlands Police Please always remember to call 999 in the event of an emergency.
Bringing on to the bad news since our last working set, I need your help. Reports came in of a white Male in his 40’s to 50’s was seen in Elmdon park performing an indecent act where staring at an incident dog walker. I am appealing to you all for any information you might have, I have been told that there was a witness who captured this male but I do not have his details and he has not contacted the police. I want to find the suspect for this and ensure the park is safe for all local residents. Please respond to this message with anything you know, also please make sure you keep yourself safe.
