Silhill WMnow Update

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope everyone is well and keeping safe as the dark nights start to roll in.

Crime Update:

On the night of the 14th of October there was a burglary in Broomfields Avenue whereby offenders have snapped a garage door lock and cut through padlocks to steal two electric pedal bikes, a dark blue Carrera cross fuse and a dark red Raleigh Felix plus. Forensic enquires are still ongoing.

Over between the late evening of the 15th and the morning of the 16th of October a gold Fiat Swift Select 184 Motor Caravan was stolen from Warwick Road when offenders have broken in by unknown means. This is a very distinctive vehicle, please contact police quoting log 1353-16/10/25 if you have any CCTV that may be able to assist.

Good News:

The team have made five arrests this week including two prolific thieves who have been targeting small supermarkets around the area making the life of staff there very difficult. Thanks to some quick work the offenders are now in prison and will be seeing the new year in behind bars.

There is a Beat Surgery 11:00AM - 1:00PM on Saturday the 25th of October 2025 at The Hub, 5-9 Hermitage Rd, Solihull B91 2LL. This will be offering some support and advice about things like Halloween, Fireworks, ASB, and darker nights. Please drop in and say hello if you can.
