Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the last week in the Blakenall Ward.  Your Designated Neighbourhood Police officer is PC Richard Collins

PCSOs have carried out high visibility patrols around the area of Sainsburys and other shops on the retail park focusing on deterring shop lifters   

Officers have again carried out reassurance patrols around the Wyrley View Estate following reports of ASB. A group of youths have been spoken with an a joint visit to their address have been carried out with the relevant housing group. At the time of sending this out we have had no further issues at the location 

Several arrests have been made in the area relating to drugs along with arrest of  people wanted for various other offences 

Joint operation was conducted in the area with officers from the traffic section, several off-road bikes and electric bikes were seized and will now be destroyed.

PC Collins who is also one of the forces wildlife officers has been dealing with various issues surrounding wildlife. These have included the destruction of badger set , deer poaching and the taking of owls from the wild.

Going into next week the Blakenall team will be carrying out speed enforcement operations at various location. If anyone would like to get involved, please contact us.
