Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:
PATROLS Our officers have been carrying out high visible patrols across the area, paying particular attention to areas that have been reported to have had a recent increase in crime or anti-social behaviour.
ARRESTS One person was arrested by our officers for drink driving and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, after causing a multi-vehicle collision in Gayer Street.
VEHICLE CRIME A vehicle was broken into and had items stolen from inside on Wilsons Lane From: 25/11/2025 16:30 - To: 26/11/2025 09:15. BURGLARY A residential burglary was reported at Sutton Stop on 22/11/2025 at 20:45 hours.
A residential burglary has occurred in Avocet Close, whereby a vehicle was stolen with keys on 25/11/25 at approximately 01:30am. If you have any CCTV or information that could assist with this investigation, please call 101 and quote crime reference number : 20/454703/25.
A residential Burglary has occurred in Sycamore Road, near to the junction of Almond Tree Avenue. From: 24/11/2025 11:00 - To: 26/11/2025 07:00. If you have any CCTV or information that could assist us with this investigation, please call 101 and quote crime reference number : 20/457873/25.
