Who has won

West Midlands Cadet of the Year 

at the West Midlands Police

 Excellence Awards 2025.

Chelmsley Wood (Solihull) Cadets chose the Birmingham Dogs Home as their charity of choice.

The Cadets thought of ways to raise funds and had the opportunity to complete a collection over 3 hours on Sunday 23rd November at Morrisons in Solihull

The official count up by The Birmingham Dogs home (based in Catherine de Barnes) was an incredible £177.55.

It was a fantastic morning; the Cadets and Cadet Pup Sid had a lovely time engaging with the public at Morrisons Solihull.

I had the great pleasure of taking all the donated Doggie goodies to them this week with Liz. They were so appreciative of all your generosity and send lots of love and tail wags your way.

Events and success like this, can only happen with the incredible support of our Cadets, their families and guardians and of course our incredible Volunteer Cadet leaders.
