Summary: We have completed high visibility targeted patrols within Brownhills as well as responding dynamically to calls to service. This week has been an interesting one with the weather playing a large part. However, even with this we have managed to complete a number of arrests.

With storm Goretti sweeping in and leaving the neighbourhood covered in snow, we are getting increasing reports of people falling, car crashes, and people having their vehicles targeted whilst they wait for them to defrost in the morning.

Type of Crime: Theft of vehicles

Date/Time: Early mornings before work

Location: Brownhills

Summary: Whilst people are getting ready for their morning commute, it is often tempting to leave your car turned on with the keys inside to allow it to warm up. Unfortunately thieves know about this and will drive round looking for these easy targets.

Police Response: We are also completing patrols early in the morning and might knock on some doors to give specific individuals advice about this.
