Trinity Neighbourhood Team update.

Dear Resident.

Welcome to this update from the Trinity neighbourhood teams set of duties.

Patrol duties.

The team have been out and about conducting increased patrols in relation to vehicle crimes and burglaries.

Several individuals have been stopped and dealt with for drug related offences.

Traffic related matters.

A vehicle was stopped for driving the wrong way in a one way street.

Checks resulted in the vehicle being seized for having no insurance.

Officers and PCSOs have also attended several local schools and have given advice to educate drivers in regards to their parking around the schools concerned.

We will be conducting further patrols in problem locations in the coming weeks.

Anti social behaviour.

The team have encountered a number of youths in the town centre following  reports of anti social behaviour.

The team have then visited parents to give advice around the law and use of electric bikes.

The team plan to carry out more work in the Trinity area regarding issues with electric bikes.

If necessary bikes will be seized and not returned as it is not possible o get the relevant insurance, tax , and MOT for such vehicles.

Police surgery.

The team held a police surgery at Second thoughts , Falcon Lodge with local councillor Richard Parkin.
