Here’s our weekly round up from the Tyburn neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening:

Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have made 2 arrests. One for theft and one for racially aggravated harassment, public order and assault, the suspect has also been issued with a banning order (Community protection notice) not to return to the location. CPN’s which are a notice giving conditions which if breached the individual becomes arrestable, these are issued to protect the community from anti-social behaviour and other offences.

Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers and PCSO’S have conducted an operation to deter shop thefts and anti-social behaviour on Tyburn retail parks.

Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers and PCSO’S have conducted a community meeting whereby the public have had the opportunity to voice any concerns. This gives the police an opportunity to put together action plans for any persistent issues.

PCSO’s and Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers have been attending Pop up police surgeries. Tyburn Neighbourhood Officers are attempting to attend the Pop ups more regularly to provide advice and understand local issues.

Finally PCSO’S have been managing crime scenes in Tyburn and other locations across Birmingham in order to preserve evidence for forensic investigations.
