Officers have again been busy with diary appointments & various incoming demand on most days and carrying out arrests.

Patrols continue at the Yew Tree for motorists parking on the Zig Zags and those caught will receive their ticket, points and fine, Remember you can also report these vehicles by using www.nextbase.co.uk/national-dash-cam-safety-portal & Operation Snap to upload your footage, numerous tickets have been Issued.

Numerous tickets have been given and reported for the offence and a vehicle seized that was parked on the zig zags showing no Insurance and driver only had a provisional license and will be reported for all 3 offences 

Patrols have been conducted around the Glebe due to reports of parking Issues and anti social behaviour 

Numerous patrols being conducted at Stechford Retail Park regarding thefts and local beggars who have been issued CPWs Community Protection Warning regarding their behaviour and can lead to a CPN Community Protection Notice ( Arrestable ) 

Officers have conducted high visibility patrols at schools across Stechford & Yardley North

Officers have conducted numerous patrols around Old Yardley Park due to concerns from local residents reporting Anti Social Behaviour and possible Drug Issues in this area and abandoned vehicles.

Patrols have been conducted across Stechford & Yardley North for stolen vehicles and vehicles without tax

Crime updates 

Theft from Motor Vehicle ….

On 01/02/26 between 06.00 hrs & 06.10 hrs Offenders have gained entry to a Toyota Prius by unknown means on Blakemere Avenue and stolen prescription glasses and a bottle of aftershave

On 02/02/26 between 18.30 hrs & 11.40 hrs on 03/02/26 Offenders have stolen a bumper, bonnet, & head lights from a 74 plate Vauxhall Corsa on Flaxley Close.  

On 03/02/26 between 22.30 hrs & 08.00 hrs on 04/02/26 Offenders have stolen front & rear registration plates from a Toyota Yaris in Northcote Road.

On 04/02/26 between 19.00 hrs & 07.00 hrs on 05/02/26 Offenders have gained access to a Merc Sprinter Van on Wyndhurst Road by removing the driver’s key barrel and once entered have stolen the ignition barrel. 

Theft of a Motor Vehicle… 

On 27/01/26 between 18.00 hrs & 07.35 hrs on 28/01/26 Offenders have gained entry to a Vauxhall Mokka by unknown means on Woodpecker Road, and stolen vehicle (victim still has vehicle keys) CCTV enquiries ongoing 

On 04/03/26 between 15.30 hrs & 17.00 hrs Offenders have stolen a Toyota Yaris by unknown means on Rudyngfield Drive, CCTV enquiries ongoing

Criminal Damage to a Vehicle 

On 04/02/26 between 14.05 hrs & 14.45 hrs Offenders have used an unknown implement to cause a long scratch along the whole passenger side of a 24 plate Seat Ateca on Leafield Crescent, CCTV enquiries ongoing  

Residential Burglary… 

On 05/02/26 between 17.30 hrs & 22.30 hrs Offenders have gained entry to a property on Charlbury Crescent by climbing over a rear garden wall and smashing the glass in the rear French door and an untidy search made and stolen a safe containing jewellery, documents. CCTV enquiries ongoing 

 Burglary of a Building (Garden Shed)

Offenders have gained access to a garden shed and stolen a Honda 125cc motorbike from Moat Lane, Shed had been left insecure so victim unsure when this happened
