Officers from the Hodgehill Neighbourhood Team have conducted investigations and have arrested a suspect in relation to a Domestic Violence offence. Officers from the team have also cautioned an additional individual in regards to a criminal damage offence in the Hodge Hill area. Officers have also stopped two vehicles on Millington Road and found both drivers had no valid drivers licence or motor insurance. It was also found that they were using their mobile phones whilst driving! This resulted in both vehicles being seized and drivers notified for prosecution. Op Advance has also seen Officers carrying out proactive patrols targeting uninsured vehicles, vehicles with no road tax, continuous ASB causing disruption to local community cohesion and an increase in offenders being arrested and sent for prosecution as a result of the efforts of the Hodgehill Neighbourhood Team. Officers and PCSO's have also been present in Washwood Heath Park in regards to reports of anti-social behaviour with offroad bikers. The team has attended in the first instance and ensured the local residents have been safeguarded and any suspects have been dealt with accordingly. The Neighbourhood Team have also been carrying out reassurance patrols around Washwood Heath Road in regards to personal theft related offences in the area, where local residents have been given crime prevention advice and had the opportunity to report anything further they have been concerned about. PCSO's from the NHT have also been targeting key locations in regards to vehicles with no road tax and obstruction of the public highway, such as Church Walk Street, Washwood Heath Road and St Margarets Road. Multiple vehicles have received TPO10's and will receive a financial penalty in the post. PCSO's from the NHT have also been carrying out proactive patrols in the Hodgehill area; talking to local businesses on the Washwood Heath Road in regard to crime prevention and involvement in Business Watch, handing out WM Now signup cards to concerned residents and holding crime prevention talks with the community to deter criminal activity in the area. | ||
