Dear Resident, Blythe Crimes update. Monday 30thMarch – Tuesday 7th April 2026. Burglary. On the 31/03/26 10am – 7.43pm a garage on Rumbush Lane Earlswood was broken into, but nothing was taken. There were two offenders wearing helmets on a white motor bike, who rode off towards Norton Lane. Burglary Business and Community. Between midnight 31/03/26 – 3/04/26 midnight, the Allotment Gardens on Dickens Heath Road were entered and several sheds had their locks forced, but nothing has been reported stolen. Theft of Motor vehicle. Between 3/04/26 9pm – 4/04/26 9.30am a white Jaguar Chequered Flag Special Edition with black alloy wheels was stolen without keys from Rumbush Lane, Dickens Heath. There have been no reports of Theft From Motor vehicle.
Blythe NPT News. Tonight 7/04/26 Blythe NPT will patrol with Cheswick Green Street Watch. Keeping our Community Safer. On Saturday 4th April a completely stripped out blue Seat Leon which had had all of its identification numbers cut out was located on Braggs Farm Lane. The only clue to the age of the vehicle was on the facia wiring loom tag left by the thieves, with a manufacture date of 2018.
Please make sure your sheds, garages side gates are locked. Move your wheelie bins inside your property away from any side gate entry. Please don’t leave your property in darkness, leave a light on. Ongoing patrols are continuing. Thank you to the residents who are helping Police with their investigations. If you see a vehicle in your area that you don’t recognise, parked up, please contact Police on 101 or use the West Midlands Police web site to log it. The location of new vehicle deposition sites are of interest to us.

Ensure that all garden furniture is stored away in a garden shed along with any tools to avoid aiding offenders in committing burglary. Ensure that Wheelie Bins are not stored near to fences and are chained together to prevent them from being used as climbing aids or storing objects in that may aid an offender to commit a crime.
