Road Safety for children

Dear Residents,

As the weather gets better and as we approach school holidays, I would like to remind you about road safety for children when they are playing outside.

Whilst on patrol over the last week, I have come across multiple instances of children playing dangerously in the road, including:

- Running into the street from between parked cars
- Not looking both ways before crossing the street
- Cycling dangerously in the street.

Please take the time to speak to your child around road safety using the attached resource and to keep your child close to you and supervised when out with them.
